Rick Myers


He is a 2 x cancer survivor and has battled the Big “C” for over 5 years. He has shared his journey and applied the experience through speaking engagements while relating the struggle to succeed through varied business scenarios and he relates multiple relevant business and personal relationships that have he has engaged in from his own diversified international business acumen and personal life’s experiences.


Recently, inspired by his collaboration with his medical teams and the positive outcome, he wanted to give back to the community by running for councilor for the 4th largest city in North America. While he did not receive the highest number of votes the experience and numerous debates has further taken his CV to a new level of appreciation and understanding.


Rick has over 25 years of National and International business experience in the IT, sales, marketing and project management areas. He brings strategic thinking and a collaborative approach for the benefit of his clients.


Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, he has traveled to more than 30 countries for business, resulting in an appreciation for cultural diversity and a keen awareness of global issues.


In 1992 through 1995, Rick was a professor with Georgian and Sheridan colleges, lecturing and teaching classes in International Marketing, Business Ethics and Salesmanship. He has co-chaired the Business executive Committee for the City of Barrie, Ontario and belonged to numerous business groups.


Rick holds a level 3 certificate for the CSIA, level 1 CSCF as a Ski instructor and course conductor as well as being a member of the PMI (Project Management Institute) He was worked with Compaq as a consultant for CRM and also for the Y2K year 2000 compliance and later with Microsoft to advance sales strategy for the SME business silo.


Educated in Toronto, he has taken numerous courses in Business, Sales and Marketing, Project Management and Law. He has worked on business plans, pro-formas and has assisted with investor financing and venture capital.


Rick has sat on various management boards and has served as a director to several companies and currently is focused on inspiring others to overcome their “road blocks” and see their way to best potential.
